An opening ceremony involving African drumming, the raising of the African Nova Scotian Flag, performances, and special remarks. The ceremony will be immediately followed by a barbeque social at the Chedabucto Lifestyle Complex in Guysborough and an hour of free swimming at the Guysborough Pool from 1-2pm. Everyone is welcome!
